Welcome to the Ëgohiyo:ak Website!!!
Congratulations on choosing to live a healthy lifestyle. The choice
you have made affects you, your family and the Seven Generations to
come. This website is designed to provide you with information that
we hope will help you on your journey to wellness. |

The National Wellness Institute offers the following definition:
“Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of,
and make choices towards a more successful existence.” |
|
|
From a native perspective, wellness depends on a balance of
physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. The two
definitions are stated differently, but yet mean the same. In our
case we encourage you to view this process as one that involves your
whole family, not just you.
We encourage you to communicate with us and other Senecas through
e-mail. This website has been set up to establish a world wide
support group for Senecas who choose to have “a more successful
existence.”
Again, welcome. We look forward to working with all of you. |

|
|
|
PURPOSE: Encourage enrolled Senecas to achieve and maintain a

will address issues affecting wellness which includes physical,
mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Native, specifically
Iroquois, teachings will be referenced where appropriate.
